Obituary of Esther Louise Bennett

Esther Louise Bennett, 61, of Cream Ridge, Upper Freehold Township died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton. Mrs. Bennett was born in West Virginia. She was a secretary for Ward Bennett Jr. Trucking Company, Inc. a family owned and operated firm in Cream Ridge. Mrs. Bennett was a past president of the New Egypt Elks Lodge Auxiliary. She was predeceased by a brother, Donnie Franklin and a granddaughter, Paige. Surviving are her husband, Ward Bennett, Jr., four sons, Ward Bennett, III , Edward Dunne, Duane Bennett, and Dean Bennett; two daughters, Michelle Dickerson and Delynne Gonsalves; three brothers, Jimmy, Freddie, and Ronnie Franklin; three sisters, Darlene Plante, Irene Martyn, Debbie Franklin; and 15 grandchildren, Christopher, Brittanney, Lacey, Morgan, Kelsey, Breanna, Cody, Richie, Alexis, Matthew, Michael, and Tommy, Emily, and Alyssa. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Harmony Cemetery, Jackson Township. Memorial donations care of the family would be appreciated.
