Obituary of Kenneth R. Burke

Kenneth R. Burke, Jr., 35, of Freehold Township died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. He was born in Neptune Township and had resided in Howell Township before moving to Freehold Township. He was a graduate of Freehold Township High School. Surviving are his father, Kenneth R. Burke, Sr., Freehold Township; his mother, Gale L. Narien, Indiana; a brother, Branson Burke, Indiana; several aunts and uncles including John, Buddy, and Charles Burke;; his fiancé, Christine Gibbons; and three dear friends, Jackie Coldwell, Sandy Nobrega, and Dylan Connell. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson Township.
