Obituary of Thomas N. Estelle

Thomas N. Estelle, 60, of Jackson Township died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Neptune Township and had resided in Freehold before moving to Jackson Township six years ago. He had served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1972. He was a dispatcher for the Freehold Fire Department for 30 years before his retirement four years ago. He was currently employed at Wal-Mart, Howell Township as a furniture department manager. He was a former member and a past president of the Good Will Hook and Ladder Company of the Freehold Fire Department and a member of the Freehold Fire Department Exempt Firemen’s Association. Surviving are his wife, Olga Borysenko Estelle; two daughters and sons-in-law, Liza and Joseph O’Rourke, Jackson Township and Rebecca Estelle and Jason Postelnik, Princeton; and a grandson, Ryan O’Rourke. V isiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Freehold Fire Department memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services with fire department honors will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
