Obituary of Brenda Horton

Brenda Horton, 50, of Freehold died Monday, September 15, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Neptune Township and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a cashier at Pathmark, Freehold Township. Prior to that she was a hotel and motel manager. Her husband, Lincoln Thomas Horton, died in May. Surviving are her mother, Drewilly Southward Brown, Freehold; three brothers, Thomas Overstreet, Sylvania, Georgia and Larry and Barry Brown, both of Borger, Texas; and three sisters, Angie Brown-Foster, Jamaica, West Indies, Therlyn Brown, Borger, Texas, and Beverly Brown-Chandler, Freehold. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday from noon to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
