Obituary of Eleanor Theresa Yankee

Eleanor Theresa Yankee, 91, of Freehold Township died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Mrs. Yankee was born in Carteret. Mrs. Yankee was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, Freehold Township. She was the widow of Edwin Yankee who died in 1977. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Yankee Hanson, Freehold Township; a brother, Rev. Joseph Czaja; two sisters, Mildred Taraska and Rose Dobrowolski; and a granddaughter, Stefani Kira Hanson. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. James Cemetery, Hope Lawn.
