Obituary of Robert Clinton Duckenfield

Robert Clinton Duckenfield, 84, of Freehold, departed this life on Friday, November 6, 2015 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Bobby, also known as Mouse, was born on November 12, 1930 in Freehold to the late Herbert and Margaret Jones Duckenfield. He attended Court Street School and Freehold High School. After graduation, he joined the Marine Corp. Mr. Duckenfield was employed by the Freehold Raceway for many years. Prior to that, he was employed by Earle Naval Ammunitions Depot, as well as Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital. His wife, Mary A. Duckenfield, died October 14, 2015. He was also predeceased by his son, Kevin Duckenfield; a grandson, Jamele; and his siblings, Herbert, Peggy, Jane and Judy. Surviving are a brother, John Duckenfield, and his wife, Willa; two sisters, Patricia and Diana Duckenfield, all of Freehold; a step-daughter, Tina McKeever, Neptune Township; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
