Obituary of Magdalena Arenas

Magdalena Arenas, 90, of Howell Township died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation Center, Lakewood. Mrs. Arenas was born in Valparaiso, Chile. She was a nurse’s aide at West Hudson Hospital, Kearny before her retirement. Mrs. Arenas was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Cecilia and Bill Whaley; a sister, Eliana Gonzalez; and two grandchildren, Patrick Whaley and Briana Arenas. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold on Tuesday, October 28 at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated.
