Obituary of Annabelle Luke

Annabelle Luke, 90, of Jackson Township died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at home. Mrs. Luke was born in Brockway, Pennsylvania and had resided in Freehold from 1956 until 1981 when she moved to Jackson Township. She was a former communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold and a communicant of St. Aloysius Church, Jackson Township. She was a graduate of Brockway High School, Class of 1936. Mrs. Luke an inspector at Brockway Glass Company, Freehold Township where she was employed from 1957 until her retirement in 1981. She was predeceased by a great granddaughter, Makayla O’Donnell. Surviving are two daughters, Doris Skerchek, with whom she lived; and Diane Duchi, Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania; a sister, Elizabeth McAninich, Freehold Township; four grandchildren, Floyd Duchi, Brenda DeSantis, Robin Duchi, and Edward O’Donnell, Jr.; and two great grandchildren, Abigail Fallin and Kelsie O’Donnell. A viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The funeral service and interment will be held in Brockway, Pennsylvania.
