Obituary of Barbara Ann Zeck

Barbara Ann Zeck, 78, of Monroe Township died Monday, November 24, 2008 at John F. Kennedy Medical Center, Edison Township. Mrs. Zeck was born in Cleveland, Ohio and had resided in Colts Neck Township for 26 years before moving to Monroe Township. Mrs. Zeck was a past president of the Colts Neck Women’s Club, a past president of the Memorial Parent Teachers Association, East Brunswick, a former Cub Scout Den Mother, an avid seamstress and antique collector, enjoyed working with jewelry, and spending time at Manasquan beach. She was a member of the Luther Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tinton Falls. Surviving are her husband, Richard R. Zeck; two sons, Richard S. Zeck and his wife Donna, Monmouth Junction, and Daniel E. Zeck and his wife Marie, Colts Neck Township; a daughter, Roxanne E. Zeck, Whitehouse Station; a sister, Patricia Dailey, Cleveland, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Jessica, Rebecca, Mario, Richard, Daniel, and Angela. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Luther Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tinton Falls on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Atlantic Cemetery, Colts Neck Township.
