Obituary of Susan Marie D'Eufemia Fedor
Susan Marie D’Eufemia Fedor , 51, of Marlboro Township died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Neptune Township. Susan was born in New York City on August 6, 1957 and moved to Freehold Township as a young child.
She graduated from St. Rose of Lima School, Freehold in 1971 and attended St. John Vianney High School, Holmdel Township. She graduated from Freehold Township High School in 1975.
She was a registered nurse and graduated from St. Peter’s School of Nursing, New Brunswick in 1979.
She worked as a dedicated intensive care unit nurse at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township and Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel Township.
She later joined Conair Corporation, West Windsor as an industrial nurse. Susan became a case manager at insurance companies where she helped patients manage their illness and hospital care.
She was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s R.C. Church, Marlboro Township
She loved the Jersey Shore and Bruce Springsteen.
Her father, Raymond M. D’Eufemia, predeceased her in 1977.
Susan was the loving wife of Michael Fedor; and the dedicated mother of Kristin and Ashley Fedor, all of Marlboro Township. She also leaves behind her devoted mother, Mary C. D’Eufemia; a sister, Lisa D’Eufemia Williams of Brookline, MA; a brother, Stephen M. D’Eufemia, Louisville, KY; her mother and father-in-law, Rosemarie and John Fedor, Perth Amboy; many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Church, 100 North Main Street (Route 79), Marlboro Township on Monday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to your charity of choice would be appreciated.
