Obituary of Charlotte S. Piotrowski

Charlotte S. Piotrowski, 90 of Manalapan Township died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Elizabeth, she lived there prior to moving to Manalapan Township 12 years ago. Mrs. Piotrowski was an X-ray camera operator for the Singer Sewing Machine Company, taking pictures of B-29 plane parts and castings during World War Two. After raising her children, she returned to work as a processing coordinator for Pharmacaps Pharmaceutical Company, Elizabeth. She attended St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Piotrowski, in 1995, and her son, Joseph G. Piotrowski, in 1981. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara J. and John Dixey, Manalapan Township; four grandchildren, Michelle Truszkowski and her husband George, Renee Dixey, John Dixey, Jr., and Michael Dixey; and a great granddaughter, Molly Truszkowski. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima R. C. Church, Freehold. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
