Obituary of Johnathan Davis

Johnathan Davis, 36, of Freehold died Sunday, December 21, 2008 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong Freehold resident. He attended the Church of God, Freehold. Surviving are his parents, Rev. Gerald and Ira Jean Cobbs, Freehold; two daughters, Kayla McDermott-Cobbs and Ayanna; a brother, Gerald David Cobbs, Freehold; three sisters, Cheryl Goode and her husband Milton and Karen Cobbs, all of Freehold, and Danielle Davis, Florida; a nephew, Marcus T. Goode; and three nieces, Kirah, Imani, and Naiya. The viewing will be held at the Church of God, 26 Ave. A, Freehold on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the church at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
