Obituary of Robert L. Heyd

Robert L. Heyd, Jr., of Colts Neck Township passed away at age 89 on January 16, 2009 at the Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge Township. Born in Delaware and a resident of New Jersey for 82 years he was the loving husband of the late Vernona Dorothy Heyd. A World War II veteran he continued to work for the military at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown in the research and development section as an electrical engineer retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Colts Neck Reformed Church and the Colts Neck Senior Citizens organization. This quiet, intelligent and interesting man will be missed by his family, two nieces, a nephew, and several second cousins and friends. Final arrangements are private under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
