Obituary of Charles Noreika
Charles Noreika, 96, of the Clarksburg section of Millstone Township died Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Hospice of Citrus County, Inverness, Florida.
Mr. Noreika was born in Amsterdam, N.Y. and had resided in Clarksburg since 1941.
He was the owner and operator of a Christmas tree farm since 1950, Noreika Gas, Inc. since 1954, and a John Deere Dealership since 1966, all of Clarksburg. Prior to that he was employed at the former A.& M. Karagheusian Rug Mill, Freehold.
Mr. Noreika was a charter member of the Millstone Township Fire Company, a charter member of the Millstone B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 2613, and a member of the Lithuanian Citizens Independent Aid Club, Freehold, the Millstone Lions Club, and Moose Lodge No. 1179, Lake Panasoffke, Florida.
He was predeceased by a sister, Sylvia Noller and a granddaughter, Sherri Yetman.
Mr. Noreika and his wife, Lillian Searby Noreika, were married in 1940. He is also survived by two sons, Charles A. and Robert V. Noreika, both of Clarksburg; a daughter, Lillian Lois Fuchsloch, Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; a sister, Clara Coddington, Coral Springs, Florida; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.

he viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. Memorial donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
