Obituary of Mathew Swiat

Mathew Swiat, 87 of Monroe Township, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Newark, he lived there prior to moving to Monroe Township 70 years ago. Mr. Swiat was Chief Executive Officer for Peer Electronics, Monroe Township. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Prusicki Swiat; two sons, Mathew J. Swiat and his wife Rachael, Westfield, and Jonathan Swiat, Monroe Township; a daughter, Susan Swiat, Monroe Township; a brother, Steve Swiatowitz, Florida; a sister, Florence Bowes, Rahway; and two grandsons, Evan and Eric Swiat. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., with funeral services being held at 7:00 P.M.
