Obituary of John Bajtelsmit

John Bajtelsmit, 89 of Berlin, formerly of Freehold, died Monday, January 26, 2008 at Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, Stratford. Born in Dearth, Pennsylvania on December 16, 1919 to the late John and Anna Morosz Bajtelsmit, he lived in Freehold prior to moving to Berlin six years ago. Mr. Bajtelsmit was a doorman at Lindy’s Restaurant, New York City. After that, he owned and operated John’s Refrigeration, New York City. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna in 1988; and a brother and three sisters. Surviving are two sons, John W. Bajtelsmit and his wife Marilyn, Rosemont, PA, and Richard M. Bajtelsmit, Fort Collins, Colorado; a daughter and son-in-law, June M. and Michael Nardello, Berlin, a sister, Mary Petlow, New York State; and eight grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Thursday, January 29, 2008 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
