Obituary of Miguel F. Correia

Miguel F. Correia, 36, of Englishtown, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Barreiro, Portugal, he lived in Newark prior to moving to Englishtown eight years ago. Mr. Correia was a precious metals melter for Heraeus, Inc., Newark. He was a member of the Englishtown Fire Department, Station 12-1 for the past seven years. He was a passionate hockey player and Devils fan. Surviving are his mother, Maria Correia, Newark; a son, Aiden, Englishtown; his love, Diane Brandt, Englishtown; a sister, Ana Galella and her husband Anthony, Westfield; his nephews Andrew and Christopher; and his grandmother he called Vo Toia. Visitation will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Friday, November 20, 2015 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Englishtown.
