Obituary of Alice Masterson

Alice Masterson, 88, of Freehold Township past away peacefully Thursday, February 05, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jamaica, New York, she lived in Merrick, New York prior to moving to Freehold Township 41 years ago. Mrs. Masterson was a member and three-time past president of the Molly Pitcher Women’s Club, Freehold Township. She won numerous craft awards at events sponsored by the Molly Pitcher Women’s Club in the over 40 years she was a member. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry, in 1989; and a son, Kevin Masterson in 1970. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian W. and Janet Masterson, Ocean City, Maryland, and Steven and Patricia Masterson, Freehold Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Joseph Curatolo, Freehold Township; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Christopher, Kathleen, and Michael Masterson, Lisa Rodman, Laura Rette, and Christine and Joseph Curatolo; and a great grandson, Parker Rette. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday, February 7, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Inurnment will be private.
