Obituary of Grace Sue McCraw Harvey

On Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, Grace Sue McCraw Harvey, 99, formerly of Freehold, entered Eternal Life. Grace was raised on a farm in Virginia. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her pets, crocheting, reading, and working puzzles. She married Burton Harvey on Sept. 14, 1926 and they enjoyed 51 years together in Richmond, Va. After his passing, Grace joined her daughter's family in Freehold. After 17 years there, they moved to Texas, to Ohio, and to Little Chute, Wis. in 2005. She was predeceased by her husband, Burton; her son, Reverend James Miller Harvey; her sister, Edith; and her parents. Grace is survived by her daughter, Thelma H. Northart of Little Chute; her granddaughter, Pamela and her husband Greg Saulnier of Appleton,Wis.; her grandson, Leo Joseph and his wife Mary Northart of Cincinnati, Ohio; and three great-grandchildren, Samantha Northart, and Arielle and Alexander Saulnier. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2009 until the service at 10 a.m. at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold.
