Obituary of Daniel M. Petrillo

Daniel M. Petrillo, 49, of Colts Neck died Sunday, February 8, 2009 at home. He was born in Summit and a graduate of Millburn High School, class of 1978. He was the owner and operator of Whispering Pines Farms, Colts Neck for the past 25 years and a Consultant Asset Manager for D&B Kearney, Ossining, N.Y. Danny was a member of Luther Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tinton Falls where served on the Board of Trustees. He has been a member of the Colts Neck First Aid Squad for the past nine years. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kimberly Petrillo in 1993 and his father, Dominick Petrillo in 2003. Surviving his wife, Carol Schroeder Petrillo; a son, Daniel; and a daughter, Kaitlyn, all at home; his mother, Alma Petrillo, Hingham, Massachusetts, formerly of Short Hills; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Nancy Petrillo, Branchburg; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and David Capodiece, East Lyme, Connecticut and Carolyn and John Gibbons, Norwell, Mass. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul R. Huneke officiating. The interment will follow at Atlantic Cemetery, Colts Neck.
