Obituary of Wanda B. Strong

Wanda B. Strong, 82, of Monroe Township was taken home by the angels on Monday, February 16, 2009 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Trinidad, Colorado and had resided in Monroe Township for the past 56 years. She was the widow of Donald W. Strong who died in 1998. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Tina Strong, Monroe Township, and Beaver and Alice Strong, Jackson Township; three daughters, Laura, Freehold, and Vickie and Tami, Monroe Township; a brother, Victor John Brunskowski and a sister, Darlene Garcia, both of Denver, Colorado; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 A.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
