Obituary of Dora Tosches Hughes

Dora Tosches Hughes, 91, of Freehold died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. Hughes was born in Jersey City and had resided there before moving to Freehold four years ago. Her husband, Charles Hughes, died in 1984. Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Ippolito; four grandchildren, Lisa Carney, Louis and Philip Ippolito, and Tina Belka; seven great grandchildren, Jennifer Rocheny, Jeremy and Louis Ippolito, Talia Carney, Nicholas and Michael Belka, and Breanne Rivera; and two great great grandchildren, Jason and Payton Rocheny. The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Services will be held at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
