How sad and sorry I am not to gather with you this weekend for Aunt Betty's funeral. I am obligated to teach a seminar in Gettysburg on Saturday and now must also conduct a funeral in my parish on Friday. But my heart and prayers will be with you. As I told Patti on Saturday, I will cherish memories of Aunt Betty driving down Barkalow Ave in her little Triumph, laughing at one the many family picnics or holiday parties our extended family shared, and helping me plan a surprise 25th Wedding Anniversary for my folks which was hosted in the Merola's backyard. I know her last months were hard for her...but I like to think Aunt Betty never lost her zest for life. May she now rest peacefully in the arms of her Lord...and may you find hope and assurance in the Easter message! Love, Beth
