Obituary of Frances L. Getta

Frances L. Getta, 72 of Freehold, was taken to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 9, 2009. Born in Summit, she lived in Tennent prior to moving to Freehold 47 years ago. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mary Zabrewski Rackowski; her husband, William Paul Getta; her daughter, Lorraine Getta; and her longtime companion, William Strong. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Kenneth Ambruster, Collingswood; a sister, Pauline Gallo, Long Island, New York; three grandsons, Thomas Fariello, and Gregory and Matthew Ambruster; a brother-in-law, Joseph Getta and his wife Maggie, Freehold; three sisters-in-law, Wanda Strong, Howell Township, Lynn Strong, Englishtown, and Alice Getta, Beachwood; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday, April 13, 2009 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
