Obituary of Dorothy M. Edler Conover

Dorothy M. Edler Conover, 97, of Manalapan Township died Saturday, April 25, 2009 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Mrs. Conover was born in Wallingford, Connecticut and had resided in Marlboro Township before moving to Manalapan Township 52 years ago. She was an egg candler for G&G Egg Receivers, Manalapan Township. She was the widow of William Edward Conover, who died in 1993. She was also predeceased by two daughters, Gertrude Cinque who died in 1987 and Leonore Korzenok who died in 1997; two brothers, William and Edwin Edler, two sisters, Gertrude Denardo and Annette Senson; and two grandchildren. Surviving are three daughters, Jean Suydam, Dorothy Boyce, and Arlene Marter; a brother, Herbert Edler; 16 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent. Memorial donations to the Manalapan-Englishtown First Aid Squad or the Robertsville Bible Church would be appreciated.
