Obituary of Lydia B Gonzalez

Lydia B. Gonzalez, 81, of Freehold Township passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at home. Mrs. Gonzalez was born in New York City and resided in Freehold Township since 1971. Mrs. Gonzalez was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold Township. She was a member of the West Freehold School P.T.O. and the Christian Women’s Association. Her husband, Richard M. Gonzalez died in 2011. Surviving are two sons, David Gonzalez and his wife Dana and Michael Gonzalez; a daughter, Elena LaTerra and her husband Ross; and nine grandchildren. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro. Memorial donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
