Obituary of Anna W. Van Hise

Anna W. Van Hise, 86, of Jackson Township died Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Care One at Jackson, Jackson Township. Mrs. Van Hise was born in South Amboy and had resided in Millstone Township for 65 years before moving to Jackson Township. Mrs. Van Hise was a clerk in the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office, Freehold for 23 years before her retirement. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Millstone and the Washington Township Seniors Club. Surviving are her husband, Howard R. Van Hise, Jr., a son and daughter-in-law, Roger E. and Diana J. Van Hise, Jackson Township; and a granddaughter, Crystal L Van Hise and her husband, Peter Hoefling, Jr., Daleville, Virginia. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Gregory Pike officiating followed by entombment at Monmouth Memorial Park Mausoleum, Tinton Falls.
