Obituary of Mark Thomas Wilson

Mark Thomas Wilson, 69, of Colts Neck Township died Friday, June 12, 2009 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel Township. He was born in Auburn, N.Y., raised in Elmira, N.Y., and resided in Colts Neck for the past 30 years. Before his retirement, Mr. Wilson was a partner of Gloria Nilson Realtors, Holmdel Township. He was a graduate of the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio, and was a former U.S. Navy officer. He was a member of the Colts Neck Lions Club, a former chairman of the board of the Western Monmouth Y.M.C.A., and a member of the New Jersey Association of Realtors. Surviving are his wife, Connie Wilson; two sons, Mark Manning Wilson and his wife Katrina and Andrew James Wilson; a daughter Diana Ostermiller and her husband John; a brother James F. Wilson, a sister, Carolyn Abel; and three grandchildren, Alexandra, Melanie, and Kate. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Colts Neck Reformed Church, Colts Neck on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Atlantic Cemetery, Colts Neck. As a ten year kidney transplant recipient, memorial donations to the National Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
