Obituary of Basil Duke Joyce

Basil “Duke” Joyce, 76, of Jackson Township, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, he was raised in Hialeah, Florida and had lived in Freehold prior to moving to Jackson Township 42 years ago. Mr. Joyce was a mechanic for County Line Auto Repair, Jackson Township. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was an exempt member of the Monmouth Hose Company of the Freehold Fire Department. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Lynn and Robert Rawls, Pensacola, Florida; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven Fostek, Jr. and Deborah Fostek, Jackson Township; and two grandchildren, Steven Fostek, III and Danielle Fostek. Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
