Obituary of Alexander James Godbolt

Alexander James Godbolt, 78, of Trenton died Monday, August 3, 2009 at Franklin Care Center, Franklin Township. Mr. Godbolt was born in Vernon, Florida, the oldest son of the later Charles and Arline Godbolt. He was a retired brick mason and a U.S. Army veteran. Surviving are two sons, Alexander Godbolt, Jr., North Brunswick and Dwayne Woods, Freehold; a daughter, Arline Berges; four siblings, Charles Godbolt, Howell Township, and Richard Godbolt, Alma Ham, and Willadean Shirland, all of Englishtown; three grandchildren; a host of cousins, Nieces, and nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery. The viewing will be held at the funeral home from on Monday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
