Obituary of Allen Stephen Kent

Allen Stephen Kent, 80, of Howell Township died Sunday, December 6, 2015 at home. He was born in Jersey City. He was a diesel mechanic for Rollins Leasing, Newark. He was a standardbred horse owner and member of the Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are two sons, Stephen Allen Kent and Kevin W. Kent; two daughters-in-law, Gail and Susan Kent; a sister, Ruth McInerney; and two grandchildren, Cody and Ryan Kent. Funeral services will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
