Obituary of Philip D. Smith

Philip D. Smith, 74, of Manalapan Township died Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at home. Mr. Smith was born in Bronx, N.Y. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a truck driver for the New York Daily News and a member of Newspaper and Mail Deliveries Union, Long Island City, N.Y. His wife, Lenore “Lee Lee” Smith died in 1992. Graveside services will be held at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
