Obituary of Muriel Bedell

Muriel A. “Honey” Bedell, 80 of Howell Township died Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Queens, New York, she lived in Jackson Township prior to moving to Howell Township 26 years ago. Mrs. Bedell was a bus aide for Trans Mobility Care, Ocean, for six years, retiring two years ago. Honey was one of a kind and loved by everyone she met. Her door was always open to everyone. She was predeceased by her husband, George Bedell, and two children, George and Dawn Bedell. Surviving are two sons, Thomas and Daniel Bedell, both of Howell township; five daughters, Joann Getta, Howell Township, Peggy Kapcio and her husband Steve, Jackson Township, Jean Johnson and her husband John, Port Charlotte, Florida, Cheryl Avila, Whiting, and Kimberly Hindman and her husband Donald, Browns Mills; a step daughter, Dorothy Mount, Howell Township; her brother, William Merkel, Port St. Lucie, Florida; a sister-in-law, Mary M. Merkel, Alvin, Texas; 21 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
