Obituary of Claire E. Barnes

Claire E. Barnes, 85, of Southport, N.C. died October 23, 2009 at home. She was born in Essex County and had resided in North Carolina for several years. She was the widow of William N. Barnes. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William and Judy Barnes; a daughter, Linda Barnes; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Pat Jinks and Ed and Jean Jinks; a sister, Dorothy Granieri; and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover on Friday 1:00 p.m. under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
