Obituary of Edna Mae Patterson

Edna Mae Patterson, 87, of Roosevelt died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the Masonic Home, Burlington. Mrs. Patterson was born in Paterson and had resided in Wayne and Millstone Township before moving to Roosevelt. Mrs. Patterson was a clerk for Haband, Prospect Park before her retirement. Prior to that she was employed as a seamstress for Brooks Brothers, Paterson. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Millstone, Millstone Township Seniors and Roosevelt Seniors. She was the widow of Thomas Victor Patterson. Surviving are a son, Thomas R. Patterson and his wife Lydia, Yardville; a daughter; Ruth Kowalewski and her husband Andrew, New Vienna, Ohio; three sisters, Mary Tescione, Clara Whitworth, Viola Verbeke; seven grandchildren, Susan, Thomas, Deborah, Walter, Karen, Andrew, and Paul; and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the United Presbyterian Church of Millstone, 211 Millstone Road, Perrineville on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
