Obituary of Frank Dinkel

Frank “Soup” Dinkel, 82 of Freehold Township passed away at home on Sunday, November 1, 2009, and is finally at peace. Born in Spotswood, he lived most of his adult life in Manalapan prior to moving to Freehold Township a few years ago. After a life of hard work, he retired in 1989, proudly spending nearly 40 years as a union member with Construction Laborers Local No. 472, Newark. Steadfast, Honest, and Loyal would accurately describe our loving and devoted husband, father, “Pop-Pop”, and friend. He was predeceased by his daughter, Debbie; his parents, Frank and Carrie Dinkel; his brothers, Herbert, Earl, Kenneth and John; and his sisters, Irene, Agnes, and Ruth. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Julia Tratch Dinkel; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Theresa Dinkel, Howell Township; and two granddaughters, Ashley and Melissa. Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Thursday, November 5, 2009, 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 A.M. Till we are able to be together again, may he rest in peace.
