Obituary of Deny J. Martin

Deny J. Martin, 35, of Howell Township died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from injuries received while at work at Monmouth Battlefield, Manalapan Township. He was born in Red Bank. He was a graduate of Freehold Township High School. He was an Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop No. 66; and a member of the Eastern Division of the Train Collectors Association and Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders, Lakewood. He was predeceased by his father, James C. Martin, paternal grandfather, Ebner Martin and his maternal grandparents, Leslie and Margaret Meissner. Surviving are his mother, Anne Meissner Martin; two sisters, Marie Wetmore and Mandy Blount; and his grandmother, Alvia Disbrow Martin; and eight nieces and nephews, Corey, Jacob, Victoria, Johnathon, Aaliyah, Latasha, Shawnah, and Miah. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet.
