Obituary of John Francis Grady

John Francis Grady, 80, of Keyport died Friday, November 27, 2009 at home. Mr. Grady was born in East Orange and had resided in Bloomfield before moving to Hazlet in 1954. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1950 to 1953. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4303, West Keansburg. Surviving are three daughters, Diane Grady, Aberdeen, Susan Grady, Freehold Township; and Casey Grady-Surgent and her husband Jeffrey Surgent, Freehold; and two grandchildren, Henry Surgent and Sarah Grady. Funeral services will be held at a later date under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to a local Meals-On-Wheels program would be appreciated.
