Obituary of Bertha L. Miller

Bertha L. Miller, 85, of Silver Spring, Maryland, formerly of Freehold, died Monday, November 30, 2009 at home. Mrs. Miller was born in Englishtown. Mrs. Miller was an office manager for Miller’s Dry Cleaners, Miller’s Stag Shoppe, and Miller’s Uniform Company, all of Freehold. She was a member of Congregation Agudath Achim, Freehold where she was a past president of the Sisterhood of the congregation; a member of Hadassah; a past president of Freehold Area Hospital Auxiliary; an officer in the Riderwood Jewish Community, Silver Spring; and social chairperson of the Buttonwood Community, West Palm Beach, Florida. Surviving are her husband, Charles R. Miller; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Irwin Goldberg and Debbie and Rory Schick; and four grandchildren, Scott, Lisa, Matthew, and Jordan. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment at Congregation Agudath Achim Cemetery, Freehold.
