Obituary of William H. Paasch

William H. Paasch, 78, of Freehold Township died Friday, December 4, 2009 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Red Bank and had resided in Freehold Township since 1978. Prior to his retirement he was a marine diesel mechanic for Point Pleasant Iron Works, Point Pleasant Beach. He was active in the Grange and held various offices in the Atlantic Grange no. 216 and Monmouth Pomona Grange No. 12. His wife, Catherine S. Paasch, died in 2004. Surviving are a brother, Henry Paasch, Freehold Township; a stepson, Jason Stone, New Brunswick; a stepdaughter, Linda S. Goedkoop, Freehold; a niece, a nephew, cousins, and his loving companion, Dottie Rasmussen. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale.
