Obituary of Mary Ann Lundy

Mary Ann Lundy, 50, of Freehold, died Thursday, December 3, 2009 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Ms. Lundy was born in Neptune Township and lived in Howell Township for many years before moving to Lakewood and then to Freehold six years ago. She attended Howell grade schools and was a 1977 graduate of Howell High School. Ms. Lundy was a certified nurse’s aide for Leisure Chateau Care Center, Lakewood for the past 22 years. She was predeceased by her father, Wilbert Lee Hinton, and her grandmothers, Rutha Mae Burwell and Roberta Davis. Surviving are her mother, Everine Lundy; one brother, Lee Owens; four sisters, Mildred Mitchell, Virna Lundy Powell, Barbara and Debra Lundy; one aunt, Mary Duncan; 18 nieces and nephews; and multiple great nieces and nephews. The viewing will be from 7:00PM to 9:00PM Monday and 11:00AM to 12:00PM Tuesday at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 12:00PM at the funeral home.
