Obituary of Joseph P. Gaire

Joseph P. Gaire, 72, of Freehold Township died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at home after a battle with ALS. Mr. Gaire was born in Paterson and had resided in Freehold Township since 1962. He was a self-employed home interior craftsman who was dedicated to his profession and customers for 40 years. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Patricia Padula Gaire; four sons, Joseph Gaire and his wife Mary, Michael Gaire, Patrick Gaire and his wife, Laura, and Richard Gaire; a daughter, Suzanne Hurd and her husband Peter; a sister, Judith Auletta; five grandchildren, Cheryl, Joey, Nicole, Tyler, and Jayden; and a great granddaughter, Adalyn. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. William Frederickson officiating.
