Obituary of Kevin Philip Conway
Kevin Philip Conway, 45, of Millstone Township died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Neptune Township and had resided in Freehold Township before moving to Millstone Township.
Kevin was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, Freehold and a member of the Holy Innocents Society. He was a member of the Search Adult Day Program, Farmingdale, a volunteer for the Monmouth-Ocean Food Bank, and a part-time employee at Staples, Toms River. Kevin enjoyed horseback riding at Riding High Stables, Upper Freehold Township. Holidays and time spent with family brought joy and pleasure to Kevin’s life.
He was predeceased by his father, Gerard T. Conway, Sr. who died in 2001; his mother, Mary Conway who died in 1996; and a sister, Catherine Conway Kovacs, who died in 1977.
Surviving are four brothers, Gerard T. Conway, Jr and his wife Mary, Christopher Conway and his wife Linda, John Conway and his companion Marie, and William Conway and his wife Michele; two sisters, Mary Anne Munning and her husband Philip, and Patricia Coyne and her husband Patrick; many nieces and nephews; and the loving staff and brothers at CPC Millstone Men’s Residence where he resided.
Kevin’s innocence and gentle spirit touched all who knew him.
Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to CPC Foundation, 10 Industrial Way East, Eatontown, NJ 07724 would be appreciated.
