Obituary of William F. O'Donnell
William F. O’Donnell, Jr. 84, of Freehold Township died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park. Born in North Hempstead, New York, he was a lifelong Freehold resident.
Mr. O’Donnell was an electrician for Local No. 400, I.B.E.W., Wall Township, retiring 24 years ago.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Cannon O’Donnell; a son, Matthew O’Donnell; and a sister, Cyrilla DeRosa.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Thomas Clark, Rumson, Colleen and Michael Gagliano, Toms River, and Kathleen and George Bente, Upper Saddle River; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Marilyn O'Donnell, Freehold Township; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Bajor, Megan McCormick, and Alec and Tera Shissias.
Relatives and friends may call at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Sunday, January 24, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, January 25 at St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C.
