Obituary of Chad Michael Horne

Chad Michael Horne, 22, of Freehold Township died Thursday, January 28, 2010 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Princeton and had resided in Freehold Township for the past ten years. He was a student at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft working toward a degree in political science. Chad was a graduate of Freehold High School. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Freehold where he served on the worship committee, was a youth group member, attended Sunday School, and participated in the 30 Hour Famine program, and a member of the Campus Crusade for Christ at Brookdale College. Chad had completed an internship at Disney World and was planning to return there to provide excellent guest services. He was employed at Wegman’s, Manalapan Township for the past six years. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Leatrice Ticson. Surviving are his father and stepmother, Michael and Laura Horne; his mother and stepfather, Rusty and Carrie Ticson-Smith; a brother, Kyle; two sisters, Bryanna and Melanie; his paternal grandparents, Donald C. and Marian Ortiz; grandparents, Diane and Harry Tracy and Joyce and Dan Ticson; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his dogs, Shaggy and Halle. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, Freehold on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at church on Monday at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
