Obituary of Edith M. Phillips

Edith M. Phillips, 77 of Jackson Township, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Neptune Township, she lived in Howell Township prior to moving to Jackson Township five years ago. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker. Her husband, Louis Phillips, Sr. died in 1988. Surviving are two sons, Leo and Larry Phillips; five daughters, Louise Reiff, Lorraine Winkowski, Lou-Ann Phillips, Lisa Hurley, and Laura Phillips; a brother, Tennent Emmons, Jr.; four sisters, Bertha Reynolds, Dolores King, Janet Petro, and Vera Baggitt; ten grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.
