Obituary of Morris Shainberg

Morris Shainberg, 88, of Howell Township died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in New York City and had resided in Freehold Township before moving to Howell Township 14 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a public accountant. Mr. Shainberg was treasurer of the Surrey Downs Men’s Club, Howell Township. He was predeceased by a son, Stuart Shainberg. Surviving are his wife, Esther Shainberg; a son, Andrew Shainberg; and a brother, Benjamin Shainberg, Queens, N.Y. Visiting will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. followed by interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Memorial donations may be made to the Jewish National Fund or the Holocaust Museum.
