Obituary of Dorothy Lapotsky Teehan

Dorothy Lapotasky Teehan, of Freehold Township died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at home. Mrs. Teehan was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, Freehold Township. Surviving are a son, Patrick A. Teehan and a daughter Tracey L. Tolson and her husband Walter Tolson, brother Andrew Lapotasky (Jean), sister Dolly Ambrose (John), two nephews Todd Ambrose and Drew Lapotasky and great niece Lily Ambrose. Dorothy was born to the late Andrew Lapotasky and wife Mary on October 9, 1934, in Manville, NJ. She was a graduate of Dunellen High School, Class of 1952. After graduation she worked for Ruberoid in South Bound Brook till she married Philip W. Teehan (deceased 1997) in 1958. She also worked for the Freehold Township Police Department for 25 years until retiring in 1997. Dorothy enjoyed traveling, reading, music, her family and friends. Visiting hours will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 0 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Robert Bellarmine R.C. Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown
