Obituary of Adolph Tyler

Adolph Tyler, 73, of Manalapan Township died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at home. Born in Tattnall County, Georgia he lived in Belmar prior to moving to Manalapan Township 45 years ago. Mr. Tyler owned and operated Tyler Moving Company, Manalapan Township for over 25 years, retiring ten years ago. He was a member of St. James A.M.E. Church, Manalapan Township. Son of the late Fleet and Johnnie Mae Tyler, he was also predeceased by a son, Darryl Tyler, a brother, Donald Tyler. Surviving are his wife, Katherine Conover Tyler; a son, Christopher Tyler, Manalapan Township; seven grandchildren, Damon Devine, Marquise Williams, Tyshon, Sharell, and Ashley Tyler, and Danielle and Sanyah Drummer; two great grandchildren, Jayden Jeter and Jaziah Parrish; a brother, Rudolph Tyler, four sisters, Loretta Griffin, Florine Williams, Elizabeth Walkins, and Erma Summers, two aunts, Elizabeth Tyler and Inez Butler; and a special cousin, Myrtis Jenkins. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Cremation will be private.
