Obituary of Tyshon Melquan Thorpe

Tyshon Melquan Thorpe, 22, of Freehold died Sunday, March 21, 2010 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was a graduate of Freehold High School and was employed at Home Depot, Freehold. Surviving are his father, Thomas Johnson, Hartford, Conn.; his mother, Diane Thorpe, Freehold; a brother, Rakim Thorpe, Freehold; his paternal grandmother, Janis Johnson, Hartford, Conn.; and maternal grandparents, Rev. Willie and Cora Thorpe, Freehold. The viewing will be held at the Church of God, 26 Avenue A, Freehold on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold is in charge of arrangements.
